DESCRIPTION: “Nuclear Family” was created through an entirely new work method for me. The background is an image generated by a computer program of my own creation, which I’ve spent a year refining. The foreground design is created from scanned images of hand painted cut paper shapes arranged in Adobe Photoshop. The entire whole cloth composition was the combined, commercially printed on polyester, and quilted.
