Reformation #3
Catalog number: 2021-003
MEDIUM: Art quilt
DESCRIPTION: The "Reformation" series is about revisiting and rethinking artifacts of the past and using them as a starting point for new work. The series sprang from my return to the studio and my struggle to start working again after a traumatic year for my family. All of the artwork in this series was created by cutting and reworking some of my older finished artwork.
#3 is a framed quilt mounted with Velcro to a black painted board and secured in a hand painted float frame. The overall measurement is 20 x 20 inches. #3 & #4 are similar in design and could easily be hung together.
